I am a Juniorprofessor at the University of Augsburg in the group Algebra and Number Theory. In January 2019 I received a positive evaluation, and thus hold an equivalent of a habilitation.
Before coming to Augsburg, I have been a postdoc at IAG in Hannover, ICTP in Trieste, and IHES in Bures-sur-Yvette.
Prior to all of the above, I did my PhD studies at the MPIM in Bonn under the supervision of Yuri Manin.
Research interests
I am broadly interested in algebra and geometry. More specifically, I work on questions in algebraic geometry inspired by string theory. In particular, my interests include Gromov-Witten theory, quantum cohomology, derived categories of coherent sheaves and mirror symmetry.
