I am a Juniorprofessor at the University of Augsburg in the group Algebra and Number Theory.

Before coming to Augsburg, I have been a postdoc at IAG in Hannover, ICTP in Trieste, and IHES in Bures-sur-Yvette.

Prior to all of the above, I did my PhD studies at the MPIM in Bonn under the supervision of Yuri Manin.

Research interests
I am broadly interested in algebra and geometry. More specifically, I work on questions in algebraic geometry inspired by string theory. In particular, my interests include Gromov-Witten theory, quantum cohomology, derived categories of coherent sheaves and mirror symmetry.

Current teaching

  • Master course Enumerative geometry and string theory
  • Seminar on linear algebraic groups
  • Reading group on microlocal sheaves (jointly with Kai Cieliebak, Marco Hien, and Marc Nieper-Wißkirchen)
